Business Development / Manager (Port Agency)

• Canvassing for  port agency business within specified territories across various shipowners.
• Managing and following up on assigned projects.
• Cementing strong relationship with clients and working with them to enhance ship agency  business
• Liasing with concerned team in the preparation of  proposals
• Making necessary marketing presentations
• Provides any business intelligence for new potential business penetration and existing accounts study.
• Collating and analysing market business data and assisting with recommendations to the Management Team
• Work effectively with the other commercial team members and business unit managers to develop proposals and win new business.
• Key point of contact for business enquiries with clients in co-ordination with the relevant offices.
Qualifications Required
• Incumbent preferably someone with BD / Commercial and/or  Operational background in the broader maritime / port agency industry
• Client centric, analytical and equipped with strong BD skills.
• Strong industry / port agency knowledge and the ability to understand and service a wide spectrum of customer needs in the maritime sector
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal skill and ability to work with a range of business units and internal managers
• Prior BD\ commercial experience in port agencies work advantegous
