Trade Compliance Assistant Manager

Job Duties:
• Promote Trade Compliance activities within the Asia Pacific region and perform an advisory role on Trade Compliance/ Regulatory requirements for import/export of customer products, duty/tax requirements (VAT, GST), product classification etc
• Analyze the compliance level of respective stations.
• Act as internal point-of-contact for Trade Compliance activities.
• Work with local country on review of trade compliance activities, and drive maintenance of SOP/CWI documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct Compliance training.
• Analyse usage of  FTA regulations for import duty reduction;
• Updates regional offices on Trade / Regulatory information.
• Submission of regional activities reports, training manuals, SOPs.
 
Skills/Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a Trade Compliance role.
• Understanding of Trade Compliance within Asia Pacific and customs compliance regulations.
* Excellent communications skills.
